    There is an error in that article: epoxy resin is not toxic, the hardener can be, depending on the formula. Once the resin is cured it is neutral. There are now organic epoxy resins so one would need to know which of the many epoxy resins the Chinese use in bicycle manufacture.

      I guess that article was looking at it from how much resources and waste is generated from using CF
